Mayteck is the UK and Ireland distributor for Hartmann Elektronik products. Hartmann was   founded in 1973 out of a company called   SEL (today Alcatel) in Stuttgart . Since 2002   they have belonged to the Phoenix Mecano Group (4000 people, 11 companies).Hartmann is well known for design and layout services (if they are complex and difficult or if   they have a high data rate they like them even better). Companies like Daimler Chrysler, Porsche, Bosch, Bombardier, EADS trust Hartmann by using   these   services.

Hartmann also manufacture and assembly customer   designed backplanes and PCB's. In Germany they are   the oldest backplane design house and have a large range of products   from standard backplanes (over 1000)   to a high number of customised backplanes.
